⭐ Estimator ⭐

Avalon Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to support our construction and insurance restoration projects. This role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing scopes of work, and supporting project teams through the estimating and pre-construction phases.

You will work closely with inspectors, project managers, and insurance carriers to ensure estimates are accurate, complete, and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for roofing, siding, and exterior restoration projects.

• Create and review estimates using Xactimate and other estimating tools.

• Analyze scopes of work, measurements, and inspection reports.

• Collaborate with inspectors and project managers to clarify project details.

• Revise and update estimates based on feedback or project changes.

• Maintain accurate documentation, photos, and estimate notes.

• Support insurance claim submissions and estimate negotiations when required.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Comfortable working with numbers, measurements, and pricing.

• Ability to review construction plans, scopes, and field reports.

• Proficient with estimating software and basic computer tools.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams.

• Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating software is an asset.

• Experience in construction, roofing, siding, or insurance restoration is an asset. 

• Basic knowledge of roofing, siding, or insurance restoration is an asset.
